How to prepare.
A little preparation before your appointment helps the treatment go smoothly — and avoids delays on the day.

Clear access to the nest
Make sure your technician can get to the nest without obstacles. This includes unlocking any gates, sheds, lofts, or outbuildings where the nest is located, and moving any furniture, bins, or garden equipment that blocks the route. Let us know in advance if access requires a ladder or involves a confined space.
If we arrive and can't access the nest, we're unable to carry out treatment and the visit will be charged as a call-out. No refund applies in this case.
Secure your pets
Please make sure all pets are secured away from the treatment area before we arrive and for at least an hour after we leave. This is for their safety — not just wasps'.
Keep children inside
Keep children indoors during the treatment, and away from the treated area for at least an hour afterwards.
Be home (or have someone there)
Someone needs to be present at the property to grant access and confirm the nest location.
If no one is home when we arrive, we won't be able to carry out treatment and the visit will be charged as a call-out.
Share accurate information at booking
The more we know before we arrive, the better. When you book, please include where the nest is (loft, garden, shed, wall cavity, etc.), roughly how large it appears to be, whether access requires a ladder or involves height, and any photos if you have them. Accurate information helps us bring the right equipment and avoid surprises on the day.
A quick note on bee nests
If you're not sure whether it's a wasp nest or a bee nest, don't worry — we'll identify it on arrival. However, please note that bees are protected and cannot be treated. If we find a bee nest rather than a wasp nest, a call-out fee will apply and the remaining balance will be refunded. We'll always advise you on the best next steps.
